Program Coordinator

In January of 2021, LeighAlison Jones joined ASSURE (The Alliance for System Safety of UAS through Research Excellence) which is the FAA’s Center of Excellence for UAS Research as a Program Coordinator. She is responsible for ensuring completion and performance of ASSURE research projects.

In 2018, LeighAlison received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University, with a double minor in mathematics and chemistry. Before joining the ASSURE team she served as the Coordinator for Admissions at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science.
